Bridgeland, Utah

Bridgeland, in Duchesne County, is located along the Duchesne River, 10 miles east of the town of Duchesne. Bridgeland is a scattered community along River Road, which branches from Highway 40 west of Myton and reconnects in Duchesne. To the north of Bridgeland is Arcadia. Settled in 1908, Bridgeland was named for the metal truss bridge that spanned the river there.

Community Life

Although Bridgeland lacks any businesses to speak of, it's located near both Duchesne and Myton. Nearby, is also Lake Boreham (Midview Dam). Bridgeland has a church and a cemetery. The old truss bridge that once spanned the river in Bridgeland was relocated in the past decade. It now spans the Strawberry River at the county fairgrounds.

Bridgeland has a Latter-day Saint meetinghouse where the Bridgeland Ward meets. It’s part of the Duchesne Stake.

Schools

Bridgeland students attend elementary and high school in Duchesne. The schools are part of the Duchesne County School District.
